The LREF is Agency Partners with the Community Foundation of the Ozarks (CFO/www.cfozarks.org). This program supports building the LREF endowments and assists our organization with capacity building.
Our funds are invested and managed by the CFO's Investment Committee which is composed of knowledgeable local leaders in the fields of banking, business, finance and investment. The opportunity for appreciation of our endowment funds are greatly increased as part of the multi-million dollar commingled investment pool of the CFO. CFO's total charitable asset base is $144 million (source: CFO 2008 Annual Report). The LREF is one of 300 regional organizations that partner with the CFO.
