Over the past three years, the Logan-Rogersville Educational Foundation has raised nearly $100,000.00 for our schools. After a successful beginning, it is sometimes hard for Non-profits to decide where to go next. As our foundation moves from infancy to adolesence, the Board of Directors is engaging in a several month strategic planning process to insure continued growth and stability.
Recognizing that the long-term security for our schools and our children resides in endowed funds, the Board of Directors has set an endowment campaign called "Five in Five". It is an aggressive campaign to raise Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) within the next five years. A minimum of the money raised would be placed in the permanent endowment. A Half-Million Dollar endowment will generate $25,000.00 yearly for our schools. (Click here to see the LREF List of Donors/Supporters.)
In order to reach this goal, the LREF has created the Logan-Rogersville Five in Five Club. The Five in Five Club is open to members who will commit to a minimum of $1,000 per year to the endowment fund over the next five years.
In honor of our Five in Five members, the LREF has committed an engraved brick on the Wildcat walkway with the member's name and a special "Cat Paw" insignia designating this extra special commitment to our schools.
